At Lake Country Construction, we offer complete General Contracting services, working with each client to seamlessly coordinate all that goes into a low-stress, worry-free home building experience.  Whether my client lives close by or far away from the building site, regular and transparent communication regarding building progress, timelines, change orders, finances and material selection is a priority for a positive client experience.

Moving through the process of working with my clients to create their dream home, whether it be a home of distinction or a delightfully cozy cabin in the woods, is what drives me to excellence.  I thoroughly enjoy listening to a client's wishlist and transforming it to a reality that draws family and friends together, provides a peaceful retreat and is a place they are proud to call home.  Though I have been building for almost 40 years, I am continually educating myself and my team on the latest industry standards with regard to best practices in construction, technological advances, and material improvements.  I maintain positive relationships with the best subcontractors throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.

When not working on projects for clients, I enjoy bow hunting, pheasant hunting and enjoying activities with family and friends.

Working to support the efforts of Boyd and his team to bring to life a lovely home is truly satisfying.  I enjoy coordinating all the services, building client relationships, and seeing the final results of everyone's efforts.  As I support the marketing strategies to continue to develop future opportunites, I am continually amazed by the craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and the overall beauty of every home created by Lake Country Construction.  Every final home project truly reflects the individual clients' vision, and each one also sits like a jewel in its surroundings, totally complimentary and harmonious with the natural surroundings.  I love how Lake Country is committed to building homes that are "energy responsible".

I love spending time with my children and grandchild, boxing, and hunting. 

LCC was heartbroken when saying good-bye to beloved Bella, Boyd's #1 companion and much loved trouble-maker who brought incredible joy for 14 years to the LCC family.  Now Boyd and Laura enjoy bringing up Cy--an Italian Spinone.  Cy was born in August of 2016, and he has added a lot of energy and laughter to our home.  We also miss  Hershey, a chocolate Lab,  but we know that she is having a wonderful time chasing frisbees and swimming with no pain now. Cy loves weekend visits with his bro, Finn, and they know that they have the world's best life and think that Lake Country Construction is awesome!!
