Northern WI Cabin Expands for More Fun with Family & Friends
This family loves to entertain, and their existing log cabin was missing important spaces to entertain a crowd. A perfectly designed addition was added to the lakeside, along with a huge grade-level deck--more than doubling the available space. After a full kitchen and bathroom remodel, the cabin is more than ready to make memories for generations of family to come. Additional fun outside space for Ping Pong and other games was carved out under the addition, and natural retaining walls were added to help create expanded level lawn for more fun and games.

A gracious family retreat that was ready for material updates and larger gathering spaces to fit the needs of a growing family. Energy efficiency was dramatically improved as this lake home became the showcase of the lake.
A Completely New Look
A solidly built 1980's colonial home awkwardly situated on a stunning lot is transformed while the family continued to reside in the home. A new shell was built over the existing structure, then the interior was deconstructed and brought up to state-of -the-art standards for energy efficiency.

Coming back to the cabin retreat after a day on the lake is so much easier on the new steps. No more slippery hill to climb.
